3AM Films, founded by Michael Lazovsky, predominantly focuses on producing deep, character-driven stories that confront internal struggles and fears.

Michael is a Latino-Jewish writer and director from Los Angeles. His recently completed short, "Magdalena", won the Golden Tadpole at the 2022 EnergaCAMERIMAGE film festival and was selected as one of twelve filmmakers for the 7th annual CAA Moebius showcase. The short film also aired live on PBS's KCET and LinkTv on October 2022 as part of the Fine Cut Film Festival.

Film Reels

I want to make films that not only have something to say as a reflection on our society but to also entertain and connect with modern audiences on an emotional level. I think too many short films get distracted in trying to hammer in a specific message or style and lose sight of what I believe will ultimately relate to audiences; characters and the emotional connection of a good story. This, in my opinion, is the most important tool of cinema.
